My Approach

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you explore your thinking, emotions and behaviours. In understanding these and the impact they have on your life, we can work together to bring about realistic change for you. The aim of this approach is to enable you to manage your difficulties and challenges using CBT techniques so that you become your own therapist.

Having trained in a variety of therapeutic models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Person-centred counselling and Psychotherapy and Couples Therapy, I will endeavour to tailor your care based on your needs. I am committed to developing my skills and knowledge with the result that I engage regularly with CPD courses, extensive reading and other relevant training.
